Congers Lake Memorial Park has received nine new pickleball courts as a part of a $1 million project.
"It's really great to see that our residents now will have the first nine dedicated courts that they'll be able to utilize", says Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann.
Other features of the project include enhanced Wi-Fi, security and a year-round concession stand staffed by people with disabilities through Bridges, a local nonprofit organization.
Clarkstown officials say that there will also be new pickleball courts at Zukor Park by the end of this year and more at Germonds Park in 2023.
