Pelham merchants are finally getting some help after weeks of losing business due to a wall collapse.

A landslide sent boulders crashing down onto apartments and businesses along Fifth Avenue on December 20. Some businesses had to be totally demolished and others are waiting for word from the village as to when they can reopen. Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-Harrison) is asking the governor for an emergency declaration to give storeowners much needed financial aid.
