Pearl River roads have reopened after a gas leak had school buses rerouted and buildings evacuated on Thursday.

Pearl River roads have reopened after a gas leak had school buses rerouted and buildings evacuated on Thursday.
Orangetown police say that the leak happened near South Main Street and Madison Avenue.
Roads were closed on Main Street between Jefferson Avenue and Cardell Avenue and on Madison Avenue between Main Street and Ridge Street.
Orange & Rockland Utilities have repaired the leak and all roads are open.
There is no word yet on the exact cause of the leak.
