Three NYPD officers were hospitalized after drinking milkshakes that may have been contaminated.
According to the Police Benevolent Association, the officers were assigned to work a protest in Manhattan Monday when they stopped at the Shake Shack on Broadway and Fulton Street.
The officers noticed an unknown substance was added to their milkshakes.
News 12 is told no one was seriously harmed, but they were taken to the hospital for evaluation and are expected to be OK.
The NYPD says no criminality is suspected.
Shake Shack is working with police in the investigation.
