In this week's Paws & Pals, Kent Animal Shelter presented some furry friends that are looking for their “furever” homes.
CHANCE- (Male) is an approximately 80-pound Lab mix rescued from a high kill
shelter in Louisiana. He has been at Kent for almost a year. Chance is dog
selective, loves his walks, LOVES to play ball, knows some basic
commands, and is both toy and food motivated. He needs leash training as
he pulls, jumps and sometimes tries to chase cars. He needs a very
experienced and patient dog owner. He needs an adult-only home. He is
protective of the humans he loves.
BEATRICE- (Female) is a 1 1⁄2 years old. 20-pound Beagle mix rescued from a
high kill shelter in Louisiana who has been at Kent for approximately 8 months.
She is high energy and can be stubborn at times. She is housebroken,
good with other dogs, loves long walks and knows some basic
commands. She would be best in an active home with no young kids.
LILLY- Lilly is 4 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She is a Terrier/Hound mix rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia and has resided at Kent for 3 ½ years. She loves other dogs, is food motivated, walks well on a leash and is also house broken. She is very loving and loyal once you get to know her. She needs a quiet home with no young children.
DAMIANA- Damiana is a 5 year old Doberman mix, weighs 50 pounds and was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She has been at Kent for 1 ½ years. She is timid until she gets to know you, but after a short period of time she is very loving and friendly. She is protective of her human if a stranger approaches. She is food motivated, crate trained, loves her walks and car rides too! Damiana is good with friendly cats and is just starting to do better with other dogs. She would do best in an adult only home.
