Fun, energy and lots of laughs are what 4-year-old Joker will bring to any family willing to give him a permanent home.

Brought to Bergen County Animal Shelter as a stray in July 2024, Joker weighs about 50 pounds and is described as a 4-year-old pit mix.

"He is very playful and goofy, great with kids and dogs. All-around lovebug," said Meg Tedeschi, manager of the animal control facility.

Volunteers at the shelter say Joker would do well in a home where he could get consistent training and exercise. He's neutered, fully vaccinated and house-trained.

Anyone interested in meeting and possibly adopting Joker can visit the shelter's website.
