A coronavirus patient received a huge round of applause as he was released from Westchester Medical Center on Wednesday.

Nick Falvo surrounded by friends, family and staff celebrating after what his family says was a long, hard-fought, battle with COVID-19.

Falvo was hospitalized with the virus for 38 days and was on a ventilator for three and a half weeks.

Falvo will now head to Helen Hayes rehab center to continue with his physical recovery.
