Passenger killed in Newburgh crash

An accident in Newburgh has left one person dead and another with serious injuries. Police say the crash happened Wednesday when a car traveling westbound along Broadway near Fullerton Avenue crossed

An accident in Newburgh has left one person dead and another with serious injuries.
Police say the crash happened Wednesday when a car traveling westbound along Broadway near Fullerton Avenue crossed into the eastbound lane.
The car traveling eastbound smashed into the passenger side of the vehicle that crossed lanes. A 48-year-old male riding in the car that crossed lanes had to be extricated by the fire department and was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh where he died of his injuries.
A second victim was also taken to St. Luke's Hospital with neck and back injuries.
