The parade didn’t only make the Irish happy – businesses also saw a boost after being hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last two years.
Crowds packed Mclean Avenue and bar owner Pete Cummins says he couldn’t be happier.
"We suffered massively for two years. We're starting to come back. Things have been a slow grind since we reopened, but with the parade and St. Patrick's, it's a great way to be back.  Everybody's enjoying themselves,” said Cummins.
Many customers say they are also glad to be back, experiencing the parade, the fun, and a chance to socialize again.
