A 19-year-old student at Washingtonville High School pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats against the school.
According to court documents, Brendan Vaughan, of Campbell Hall, entered the plea in White Plains Federal Court earlier this week.
Vaughan was arrested in 2018 after reportedly sending threatening messages about a school shooting. Officials say the messages alarmed students.
A thorough search of the school was undertaken, although nothing was found.
He is scheduled to be sentenced next April.
