One person is dead after an early morning house fire in Hillcrest.
Massive flames engulfed the home on Rockland Lane around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
The chief of the Hillcrest Fire Company says most of the people who were in the house had already evacuated, except for one man who was unaccounted for.
The fire chief also says two people were sent to the hospital -- one for smoke inhalation and the other, a firefighter, for second-degree burns.
No other homes were affected by the aggressive flames, but they were evacuated for precautionary measures.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
