One person is dead following a fast-moving house fire in Mount Kisco.
According to officials, the fire started in the basement of a home at 121 Saint Mark's Place around 8 a.m.
Fire officials say it was a fast-moving fire, and heavy smoke and flames filled the house. They were not able to get to a man in a bedroom in the basement.
Police say the owner of the home was able to get out on her own.
A man told News 12 he lived on the top floor with his wife and 10-year-old son, and they too got out safely.
The name of that victim has not yet been released, but investigators say they believe he is in his 30s.
There is still no word on what caused the fire.
