An NYPD detective from Westchester has died from complications related to the coronavirus.
Chopper 12 was overhead as the body of Jeffrey Scalf was escorted from NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital to Yorktown Funeral Home in Shrub Oak Tuesday.
His death brings the total number of NYPD detectives lost to the pandemic to four.
Scalf leaves behind a wife and children.
