NYPD: 2 teens struck by gunfire in the Bronx, suspect on the loose

Police say gunfire struck two teens in the Fordham section of the Bronx Thursday night and both are expected to survive.

Police say gunfire struck two teens in the Fordham section of the Bronx Thursday night and both are expected to survive.
According to the NYPD, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were shot on Marion Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
The two boys were reportedly approached by two unknown suspects who began shooting at them.
The 14-year-old was shot once in the left arm and was taken to New York City Health + Hospitals Jacobi. The 15-year-old was hit in the left leg and rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Police are unsure if the two teens were the intended shooting targets. Both had no prior criminal history.
Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
