The North Salem School Board has placed Superintendent Dr. Duncan Wilson on administrative leave, the board announced Wednesday.
The board did not disclose the reason for Wilson's leave or its duration.
Wilson was appointed superintendent last year.
Deputy Superintendent Adam VanDerstuyt will serve as interim superintendent. VanDerstuyt has held various positions within the district since joining in 2015.
