A nor'easter is headed to the Hudson Valley and is expected to bring heavy rain and gusty winds.
News 12 Meteorologist Joe Rao says a light wintry mix will develop by midnight.
Rao says that the storm and any remaining wintry mix will change to rain by Tuesday morning.
Showery, windswept rains will be heavy at times, and there is a risk of scattered thunderstorms. There may be flooding, especially in poor drainage areas,
Tuesday evening will be cloudy with lingering showers and lows of 33 to 39.
A flood watch has been issued for the Hudson Valley for Tuesday. A coastal flood advisory is also in effect. Wind gusts could hit up to 60 mph in some areas, which could cause downed trees and power outages.
