IRS delay: Agency won't start processing tax returns until Feb. 12

If you were planning to do your taxes now for an early refund - think again.

The IRS has delayed this year's processing, and says it won't start handling 2020 income tax returns until Feb. 12.

It usually begins late this month.

The IRS blames the delay on the latest stimulus rollout and tax rule changes that took place in December.
