A new mother got the surprise of a lifetime at White Plains Hospital on Friday when her boyfriend proposed with the help of their newborn daughter.

Eddie Fanning, of Mahopac, had planned the special proposal to his girlfriend Lindsey Trezza for several weeks.

Shortly after baby Brooke was born, Fanning asked their nurse to help dress her in a special onesie for his proposal. Trezza said yes.

White Plains Hospital's Labor and Delivery team said they were delighted to play a role in making the proposal happen.
