The Department of Transportation says alternate side parking regulations in parts of the Bronx will be suspended beginning Wednesday.
For the next six to eight weeks, the DOT will install more than 2,000 signs about reduced street cleaning in Riverdale, Spuyten Duyvil, Marble Hill and Kingsbridge.
The new regulations will require residents to move their cars once a week for street cleaning, rather than twice a week. The DOT says neighbors should call 311 regularly for updates.
