A threat on social media has caused Pelham schools to shift to remote learning for today.
In an email to parents, acting Superintendent of Schools Dr. Dennis R. Lauro Jr. says the district learned about a specific threat made on Snapchat against the high school this morning.
He says the shift to a full virtual day for all schools was done "out of an abundance of caution."
The threat is separate from the TikTok threat that schools across the country are dealing with today.
