A New Rochelle man is facing several charges after he allegedly attacked a home health aide who cared for a relative.
Police say Louis Gonzales, 68, was arrested after he grabbed the 33-year-old aide's private area and attacked her from behind.
Detectives say the aide had cared for Gonzalez's disabled mother-in-law.
Gonzalez, who police say is a "previous offender," is facing several charges including public lewdness, forcible touching and harassment.
In court today, Gonzalez's attorney said his client is innocent until proven guilty, and asked for privacy and respect for the family.
A judge set Gonzalez's bail at $5,000 cash. He is due back in court on Jan. 30.
