New City man who allegedly killed former employer faces second degree murder charges

The New City man accused in a deadly shooting outside of a Haverstraw funeral home faced a judge on Saturday.
Gerard O'Sullivan was arraigned from his hospital room at the Westchester County Medical Center.
Police say O'Sullivan, a former employee of the TJ McGowan's Funeral Home, fatally shot the general manager, Noe Hammer, in the parking lot Thursday night.
O'Sullivan suffered a gunshot wound to the should after police say a civilian with a licensed handgun shot him before they arrived.
The 60-year-old faces multiple charges including second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
He is being held without bail.
