A California company is recalling dried mushrooms thought
to be linked to a salmonella outbreak in at least 10 states, including New
York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
More than 40 people have been sickened so far, and four
have been hospitalized.
Some of those who got sick ate at restaurants serving
ramen.
The product suspected in the outbreak is wood ear mushrooms
distributed by Wismettac Asian Foods.
