A three-vehicle rollover crash on Route 301 in the town of Kent, Putnam County, has left at least two people injured.

The crash occurred Saturday morning, just before 8 a.m., near the Chuag Yen Monastery on Route 301. The Kent Fire Department responded to the scene, initially reporting a single vehicle crash with a person trapped inside.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a more complex scene, with three vehicles involved, including a car rolled over in the middle of the road, a red truck with front-end damage, and another vehicle that ran off the road into the trees.

At least two people were taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Route 301 was closed between the Taconic State Parkway and Old Forge Drive as crews cleared the scene.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
