A New Jersey motorcyclist has died after a crash in Orange County.

Tuxedo police say Anthony Mann, 19, was heading westbound on Sterling Mine Road on Sunday night when he attempted to pass other cyclists and ended up in the eastbound lane.

Mann slammed on his brakes but was thrown on the shoulder of the road. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police are still investigating the death.
