High pressure is still influencing our weather, giving the region low humidity levels, fair skies and a pleasant breeze.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Some areas may see their Thursday morning temperatures get into the 40s. The average low is 62 for this time of year. Cities like White Plains and Yonkers will see their temperatures dip into the low to mid-50s.
- A system will approach the region Friday, bringing a scattered shower chance. The shower trend has been in our favor lately, where we see a low chance for showers moving in. Many locations may barely see any rain.
- Once that system's cold front passes by Friday afternoon/evening, another round of autumn-like air will move through. The holiday weekend it is looking really great, from start to finish!
