In a landslide decision, voters have given the green light to a $98 million capital improvement initiative within the Monroe-Woodbury School District.
The referendum received a substantial 878 'yes' votes compared to 290 'no' votes.
The allocated funds are earmarked for an array of crucial projects across the district. These include the replacement of boilers in five schools, infrastructure upgrades spanning all seven district schools, and roof replacements in four schools.
District officials have assured that these substantial expenditures will have no impact on taxes.
