The family of a missing Wallkill teen says he was found dead.

Muswar Ahmad, 16, was last seen two weeks ago. His older brother says he left the house after arguing with their parents about school. Family members say police told them Ahmad's body had been found inside an abandoned building down the street from their house.

Ahmad's brother says the police did not do enough to help look for him. An Amber Alert had not been issued because police believed he ran away and was not in danger.

A cause of death is not known. Ahmad's family says they were told by police that he somehow "passed out."

Police say they are still working on positively identifying the body. DNA and autopsy results are also pending.
