Students at Middletown High School had to be evacuated for a bomb threat again Wednesday.
District officials say the threat was called in at around 10 a.m.
Students and staff waited on the football field as police swept the school. Investigators found nothing, leading them to declare the threat was the third hoax in recent weeks.
Teens were let back in just before the end of the school day.
Wednesday's scare follows a push Monday to crack down on falsely reported bomb threats.
Authorities are not saying whether or not the incidents are related, but they say it's often hard to find the person responsible.
No arrests have been made.
