Metro-North improves 'on-time' rate

Metro-North has improved its 'on-time' rate, but the company was just shy of hitting its goal. A performance review by the MTA shows that trains were on-time 92.5 percent of the time last month.

A performance review by the MTA shows that trains were on-time 92.5 percent of the time last month.
Metro-North's goal was 93 percent.
The worst line when it comes to on-time performance is the railroad's New Haven branch.
