A man is recovering after being shot and crashing his vehicle en route to the hospital. Investigators say the vehicle came to a halt near 87 Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers this morning, near City Hall.

A man is recovering after being shot and crashing his vehicle en route to the hospital.
Investigators say the vehicle came to a halt near 87 Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers this morning, near City Hall.
Police say the man was likely shot at a different location and then apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into another car.
They say he was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Officials say the crash caused significant traffic that lasted for several hours.
