Geovanni Otero, wanted for murder in Philadelphia, is now in custody in Westchester County following a dramatic chase.

On Saturday, New York state police attempted to stop a vehicle reported stolen out of Virginia. Otero, the driver, fled from the scene, subsequently crashing the vehicle before attempting to escape on foot.

Police had been searching for Otero in connection with the murder of a 29-year-old woman in Philadelphia last November.

He is currently held in custody, awaiting extradition proceedings back to Pennsylvania.
