A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in West Farms. Police say someone approached a 21-year-old man who was sitting in his car at Crotona Parkway and East 180th Street on Jan. 18. The suspect flashed his gun and demanded the victim's belongings, according to the NYPD. The victim ran and the suspect opened fire, striking him in the shoulder and neck before fleeing. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police.
