Man shot in the leg after verbal dispute in Brooklyn, police say

The NYPD is looking to identify a suspect linked to a shooting that occurred earlier in April.

The NYPD is looking to identify a suspect linked to a shooting that occurred earlier in April.
Police report a 41-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown individual April 12 at around 6:50 p.m. in front of 371 Etna St. Police say the two engaged in a verbal dispute, which escalated into an assault.
The unknown suspect displayed a handgun and shot the victim in the leg, before getting into a silver, four door, Infiniti sedan and fleeing southbound on Lincoln Avenue.
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was treated.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing blue ripped jeans, a black short sleeved hooded sweatshirt and light-colored sneakers.
