Man killed by train in Mount Vernon

The MTA says the crew of a train heading toward Grand Central Station discovered the man between the tracks and the platform at the Mount Vernon East Station just before 11 p.m.

A man was killed last night when he was hit by a Metro-North train in Mount Vernon.
The MTA says the crew of a train heading toward Grand Central Station discovered the man between the tracks and the platform at the Mount Vernon East Station just before 11 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Railroad officials say they don't know when he was hit.
Right now the incident is under investigation.
