A man was fatally shot inside a deli on Ashburton Avenue in Yonkers on Tuesday night.

Police say Javon Merrill, 27,  of Yonkers, was exiting the Triangle Deli around 9:35 p.m. when he was approached by two suspects outside.

One of the suspects shot Merrill at least once before both suspects fled.

Merrill was taken to the hospital where he died.

No arrests have been made.

A memorial is growing outside the deli where Merrill was fatally shot.

“Just everybody stop killing each other man that’s it,” said his father, Terrence Merrill.
