A man on parole for killing a Rockland County teenager has been arrested again in Peekskill.

Robert McCain is charged with petit larceny after police say he tried to remove a state license plate and registration from a parked car last Wednesday. He was released and is due back in court in January.

Back in July, McCain was arrested for forcible touching at a park in Cortlandt. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four months in jail before being released last month.

McCain previously served 40 years in prison for the 1980 murder of 16-year-old Paula Bohovesky in Pearl River.
