A holiday display at a mall in White Plains is looking a lot more like Christmas following complaints from customers.
The original space-age Santa theme that was on display over the weekend at The Westchster has been replaced by a new Nutcracker scene and other traditional Christmas decorations.
Complaints from customers, who took to social media to discuss the lack of tradition in the display, led to the major change.
The president of Simon Malls released a statement saying in part, "It was our intention to experiment with delivering a modern interactive experience for the family. After listening to customer feedback, we immediately decided to remove and replace them with traditional decor, including Christmas trees, and hope our customers will join us in celebrating the Christmas season."
