For the first time in 159 years, Santa Claus will not be meeting and greeting kids at Macy's famous Herald Square location in Manhattan.
Macy's started the holiday tradition in 1861.
This year the department store is making the visits virtual due to COVID-19.
The online Santaland experience will start with elves leading children through Santa's village and workshop.
Kids can still tell the big guy their wish lists and take a picture to download. It starts the day after Thanksgiving.
