Local artist Don Wintman is using his art designs as an outlet for finding a kidney donor.
The 64-year-old artist is bringing his work to life, sharing news about the dire need of organ donations - with hopes to save himself.
"Last year, my prostate was enlarged so much so that it affected the shutdown of my kidneys," says Wintman.
For a year and a half, Wintman has been living in the end stages of kidney failure.
That is why Wintman is painting shirts, pumpkins and even his car. He is looking for what he needs using what he's best at.
