Dozens of relatives and friends came together Wednesday to mourn a Hartsdale man who was beaten and stabbed to death in his condominium.
Leonid Eylinkrig was remembered as a kind and funny man by loved ones who visited a Bronx funeral home to pay their last respects.
Investigators say 20-year-old Alejandro Barajas, of Hartsdale, has confessed to Eylinkrig's murder. According to police, Barajas stabbed and beat the 44-year-old victim in his condo Saturday evening. Police say it's possible the two men had a sexual relationship.
Barajas is being held at the Westchester County Jail without bail and is due in Greenburgh Town Court Friday.
