There was a large police presence at a field in Spring Valley on Wednesday evening. The field is located off Dutch Lane. Multiple vehicles from the Spring Valley Police Department and Rockland County Sheriff's Office crime scene unit were seen parked in the field. News 12 saw investigators take out what appeared to be brown bags and some evidence markers. They then walked to a wooded area where they set up a tent and some police caution tape. When News 12 arrived at the scene, there was a tow truck present. News 12 learned that around three police vehicles got stuck in the mud during the investigation due to the heavy rain.
