A Kingston man has been sentenced to 4.5 years in state prison for child sex abuse.
According to police, Carlos Fernando Pinola Pop, 41, abused a 7-year-old girl in Kingston last year.
He was arrested after the victim reported the abuse to her mother.
As part of his sentence, Pinola Pop will be required to register as a sex offender.
Additionally, he may face deportation by the federal government.
