The woman accused of killing her fiance in the 'Murder on the Hudson' case faced a judge this morning.
A status conference was held for Angelika Graswald in Orange County Court today, and she will now submit to a DNA swab test.
Graswald's fiance Vincent Viafore died while kayaking with her on the Hudson River in Cornwall last April. Prosecutors say Graswald intentionally removed the drain plug from his kayak, and watched him drown. They say Graswald admitted to police that she tampered with the kayak, and that she also allegedly said that it "felt good knowing he was going to die."
However, Graswald says Orange County police questioned her for six hours before she broke down and admitted to something she now says isn't true.
She remains in the Orange County Jail with bail set at $9 million. Her murder trial is tentatively set for next spring.
