The case of a Harrison police officer accused of sexually abusing a model during a traffic stop in 2006 went before a jury in White Plains Tuesday.
Stacey Summa, 27, claims she was groped by Police Officer Edward Detlefs while another unidentified officer held her down.
Defense attorney Steve Harfenist says Summa's allegations are not believable because she admitted last week to being drunk and high at the time of the traffic stop.
The lawsuit against Detlefs is one of a dozen filed against the Harrison Police Department and other municipalities by the controversial attorney Jonathan Lovitt. All but three of the lawsuits had been thrown out.
