John ?Junior? Gotti says FBI agents who claim he gave information to the government are putting him and his family in mortal danger.
Gotti was at federal court in White Plains Tuesday dealing with charges that he violated the terms of his release from prison by not paying taxes. Gotti?s attorney says his client is all paid up. In a small victory for Gotti, the judge did say that he will not have to hand over all the documents the government requested.
However, Gotti, the son of late famed mobster John J. Gotti, was not talking about his tax troubles outside the courthouse. He talked about newspaper articles that state an unnamed FBI agent implied Gotti was supplying the government with information, possibly to avoid murder charges.
Gotti said the resulting articles have him and his family living in fear, referring to the possibility of a hit. "Does it make it all better if I get one in my head?" said Gotti.AP wires contributed to this report.
