Juneteenth marked in White Plains with 21st annual parade

A parade marched down Mamaroneck Avenue this weekend to mark the 21st annual Juneteenth celebration in the city.
The event commemorated the end of slavery and highlighted Black culture and achievement. Festivities continued on Court Street with live music, dancing, vendors and family-friendly activities.
Several community members were honored during the event.
Juneteenth is this Thursday.
