The two suspects in the murder of Newburgh man Jared Plante entered guilty pleas today.
Jacquelle James, 21, admitted to second-degree murder after allegedly shooting and killing 36-year-old Jared Plante in January.
James said he shot Plante multiple times during an attempt to rob Plante of marijuana.
James's co-defendant Daryl Daniels, 25, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of attempted second-degree robbery.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 18.
