Investigators search for cause in New Rochelle apartment building fire
The blaze drove about 100 tenants out as thick smoke filled the structure.

The search continues for what sparked a fire inside an apartment building in New Rochelle.
It happened Sunday evening at the apartment on Locust Avenue.
"It was scary for me, I was praying it wasn't my apartment," says Adeline Herring, who lives in the building.
Officials say the fire started in one of the units.
About 100 people had to be evacuated from the building.
"There were carbon monoxide readings throughout the building so that's the normal procedure that we vent the building to make sure and we check the levels," says Chief Andrew Sandor, with the New Rochelle Fire Department.
After emergency crews checked out the floors and other conditions, residents were let back in.
Fire officials say the Red Cross is helping the people who live in the unit where the fire started, that's where the damage is.
A tenant and firefighter have minor injuries. They're both expected to be OK.
