People gathered in Peekskill today to pay tribute to slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
More than 100 people packed the event, which was held in the auditorium at Peekskill Middle School.
The interfaith service brought together people of all backgrounds and religions to remember Dr. King's vision and continue his work.
The Peekskill Area Pastor's Association organized the event, along with Mount Olivet Baptist Church.
They have been running the event for the past 31 years.
